Who are you? Tell us a bit more about yourself!

I am a young social entrepreneur that hopes to make a difference in society. With the money I make, I organize free haircuts for children from less privileged families and Project Vision which aims to give children prescribed spectacles suffering from myopia in less develop countries.

What’s your story? Tell us about a life-changing incident.

I started Art with a HeART when I was 13. I decided to use the money I make to help the less fortunate after I was reminded of a mission trip I made when I was 10 years old. Ever since then I always had a heart for children that are not as fortunate as us.

Why 50for50 and why now?

I decided to participate in 50for50 because I myself strongly believe that we GEN-Y folk do have a heart for people too. Many believe that young people do not care about the community but it is up to people like myself to show the world that young people has the most potential as a catalyst to make a difference in the world. If not now, when?

What gets you up in the morning?

Making a difference, changing lives.

Why this cause out of so many causes?

There are so many causes and so many needs to be met and yes, I will not be able to help all of them. But just like the Starfish Story, for every life I change, I made a difference in that one.

Any experiences with charity or non-profit work before?

What kind of change are you looking to bring about as a changemaker?

To change the world I live in. To make this world a better place. And to show the people that not all young people are selfish, ignorant brats but we too have a heart for the less fortunate.

What is your big idea on how to raise funds for 50for50?

That’s a secret. *winks*
