Changemaker: Jia Yee
Charity: Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities

Changemaker Jia Yee’s choice of charity is Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities, an organization which provides assistance to the various groups in our community through more than 40 centres, services and programmes for adults, families, elderly including persons with disability.

Held at Artistry, a nice quaint art gallery and café, Jia Yee’s event was indeed a great success. Her idea of a poetry, playwright and a musical performance by a duo was a well thought plan to help raise awareness for Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities while giving us a glimpse of our local art talents!

01The stars for the night who made the event a great success. Thank you all the talents for making this possible!

03Meet Jarrold Yam, a law undergraduate at University of College London and an author of poetry collection! A young and talented individual recently named by National Arts Council as one of the “New Voices of Singapore 2014”

04A mesmerizing performance by local duo CIAO TURTLE (Dennis, left and Jared, right). They wanted to call themselves Goodbye Amphibian, but figured Ciao Turtle would be better instead. We would like to thank them for dedicating their time to supporting this cause! Check them out at
