CARE COMMUNITY SERVICES SOCIETY
  • Trinity Christian Centre founded Care Community Services Society (CCSS) in 1996. A registered charity affiliated with the National Council of Social Service (NCSS), CCSS seeks to transform individuals and families by empowering people to become channels of blessing for others in the larger community. Pillaring on their four visions; Service Posture, Strategic Positioning, Active Partnership and Empower People, CCSS mainly reaches out to their community through CARElderly Services, Care Family Services and Children Services.
  • Through the programmes carried out in their Seniors Activity Centres, CCSS hopes to expand the world of the elderly beyond the walls of their home through engaging in social activities that empower them with a renewed sense of purpose. On the family services’ side, CCSS partners with Singapore Prison Service to help ex-offenders re-integrate into their families and society. Currently the project is being carried out in Changi Prison & Changi Women’s Prison. Under their Children Services, CareHut is a school-based student care centre which primarily caters to low-income and single-parent families’ children. Also, CCSS provides mentorship programme for children. Their d’Klub Mentoring Programme not only includes tuition but also character development lessons and sports programmes for the children too.
